Dispute Resolution & Arbitration
Not every dispute needs a lawsuit. We help you evaluate your options before litigation: direct negotiation, conciliation through official channels, mediation, or arbitration if the contract provides for it, while observing the statutory deadlines so that your right is not affected while a settlement is being attempted.
How we help
- Assessing the dispute, the options for resolving it, and the procedures and documents each option requires.
- Preparing demand letters and formal notices before action is taken.
- Representation in conciliation and settlement sessions, including amicable settlement in labor disputes and the Taradhi reconciliation platform.
- Reviewing arbitration clauses in contracts and determining their effect on how the dispute is heard, including recourse to the Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration where the parties agree.
- Drafting settlement agreements and releases in a way that preserves rights and limits subsequent disputes.
What to prepare for the review
Send whatever documents you have related to your matter. We will identify any additional needs after the initial review.
- The complete disputed contract with its annexes, especially the dispute resolution clause.
- Correspondence and notices exchanged between the parties, in chronological order.
- A statement of the disputed amounts or obligations and their supporting documents.
- Any previous conciliation records or settlement offers.
How work begins
We start by identifying what you want to achieve from the settlement and the minimum acceptable to you, then review the statutory deadlines and the dispute clause in the contract, and propose the most appropriate course and the steps to pursue it.

Frequently asked questions
Does negotiation affect the statutory deadlines for a lawsuit?
Statutory deadlines may continue to run during negotiation, so we review the lawsuit and grievance deadlines relating to your matter before entering a settlement process.
My contract includes an arbitration clause. What does that mean?
It usually means the parties have agreed to refer their disputes to arbitration instead of the court. We review the wording and scope of the clause and the agreed institution and rules before determining the procedure.
Is a settlement agreement binding?
The strength of a settlement agreement varies depending on its form and the authority before which it was documented; we explain the most appropriate form so that the agreement is enforceable in the event of a breach.
Do you handle these cases outside Riyadh and Jazan?
Yes, we serve clients in all regions of the Kingdom; consultations are held remotely, procedures are followed up through e-litigation and the Moeen platform, and in-person attendance is arranged when the matter requires it.
