Regulatory Compliance
Many fines and disputes begin with a regulatory obligation that was overlooked at the time. We help businesses identify the laws and regulations applicable to their activity, assess their current position, and put in place a practical plan to address gaps before they become violations. The work draws on experience in governance and compliance and on the GRCP certification in governance, risk and compliance.
How we help
- Identifying the laws, regulations and licenses applicable to the business's activity and branches.
- Assessing compliance in areas such as employment relations, contracting and personal data protection.
- Reviewing internal policies and procedures and aligning them with statutory requirements.
- Studying notices and observations issued by regulators and proposing remediation.
- Preparing a periodic obligations matrix that helps management with follow-up and updating.
What to prepare for the review
Send whatever documents you have related to your matter. We will identify any additional needs after the initial review.
- Commercial registration, licenses, and the list of activities and branches.
- The internal policies, regulations and forms in use.
- Standard contracts with clients, suppliers and employees.
- Any previous observations, violations or notices from regulators.
How work begins
We first define the scope of the assessment: the entire business or a specific area. We then review the documents, meet with the responsible officers when needed, and deliver a report setting out the gaps, their priority and the steps to address them.
Regulatory Compliance across all regions of the Kingdom
We provide this service in person from Riyadh and Jazan, and to our clients in other regions through electronic judicial channels. Choose your region to learn about the types of cases and the competent authorities there:
Frequently asked questions
Does the service cover the Personal Data Protection Law?
Yes. Within an agreed scope, we review how personal data is collected, processed and disclosed in the business's policies, contracts and forms.
A violation has already been issued against us. Is this service suitable?
An existing violation is examined under the Administrative Cases service to determine the grievance or lawsuit route, while a compliance assessment aims to prevent violations from recurring in the future.
How long does a compliance assessment take?
The duration depends on the size of the business, the number of its activities and the scope of the assessment; we clarify it along with the fees before starting.
Do you handle these cases outside Riyadh and Jazan?
Yes, we serve clients in all regions of the Kingdom; consultations are held remotely, procedures are followed up through e-litigation and the Moeen platform, and in-person attendance is arranged when the matter requires it.
