Financial Claims & Enforcement

A financial claim begins with a simple question: what proves the right and its amount? We study your documents to determine the most appropriate course; some rights require a lawsuit and a judgment, while others rest on an enforcement instrument that can be submitted to the Enforcement Court once it meets its statutory requirements.

How we help

  • Listing the amounts due and linking each amount to its supporting document and the period it relates to.
  • Examining whether the document is an enforcement instrument, such as a final judgment, a check or a promissory note.
  • Preparing the demand letter and formal notice before taking judicial action.
  • Filing a claim where there is no enforcement instrument and following it up until judgment is issued.
  • Submitting the enforcement request and following up on its procedures through the approved channels.

What to prepare for the review

Send whatever documents you have related to your matter. We will identify any additional needs after the initial review.

  • The contract or proof of the dealing, such as purchase orders and accepted offers.
  • Invoices, statements of account, balance reconciliations and transfers.
  • Checks, promissory notes or acknowledgments of debt, if any.
  • Previous correspondence and demands, and any judgments or records relating to the matter.

How work begins

We first classify the claim: do you have an enforcement instrument, or do you need a judgment? We then review the relevant statutory deadlines, including the limitation period for commercial claims, before determining the appropriate procedure.

Frequently asked questions

Can I go directly to the Enforcement Court with a promissory note?

A promissory note is among the documents that may be submitted to the Enforcement Court once it meets its statutory requirements; therefore, we examine the note and its details before submitting the request.

The debtor is in another region. Can the claim be pursued?

Yes. Requests are filed and followed up electronically, and we determine the territorially competent authority according to the statutory rules applicable to the claim.

Do you guarantee collection of the amount?

Collection cannot be guaranteed; it depends on the strength of the documents, the debtor's solvency and the enforcement procedures. We give you a realistic assessment before starting.

Do you handle these cases outside Riyadh and Jazan?

Yes, we serve clients in all regions of the Kingdom; consultations are held remotely, procedures are followed up through e-litigation and the Moeen platform, and in-person attendance is arranged when the matter requires it.
